THE CLUB - FEES & HOW TO JOIN US
IOTA welcomes experienced archers to join us either as full or associate members. While we don't currently offer formal beginners' courses we are also open to novice archers who are 'sponsored' by an existing club member. All archers require cover from the GNAS insurance policy, and this is part of your GNAS membership which is included in the annual club membership fee (associate members will have already paid this elsewhere and so will be eligible for a reduced membership fee).
Since we think it's important to really get to know a club before commiting the time and money to join all prospective new IOTA members are eligible for one calendar month of free target days before having to make a decision as to whether to join us or not.
Full Adult membership fee is £120.00 for 12 months (plus one-off joining fee of £50 to cover advance GNAS / EMAS / LCAS fees).
Associate Adult membership fee is £50.00 for 12 months
Full Junior membership fee is £50.00 for 12 months (plus one-off joining fee of £30 to cover advance GNAS / EMAS / LCAS fees)
Associate Junior membership fee is £30.00 for 12 months
The membership year runs from 1st September to 31st August and Full membership fees include club membership for one year and advance affiliation fees for national (GNAS), regional (EMAS) and county (LCAS) archery organisations for the following year (meaning that once you have joined us there will be no 'extra' fees on top of your club membership each year for the duration of your membership). Membership fees are one-time annual costs as IOTA does not charge any additional target fees each time you shoot, and are payable either in full in advance or monthly by standing order.
IOTA is happy to welcome ALL eligible prospective members and, in line with GNAS requirements, nobody will be refused membership due to any discrimination on grounds of ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, age, religion, politics or other beliefs.
